Willie Nelson and Robert Vaughn lock horns in the Western DUST TO DUST.
Like ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, the film concerns the effect that railroad expansion after the Civil War had on people who had already settled on the frontier.
Vaughn plays the mayor of a small town in Texas who gives the railroad company a patch of land to build tracks through town.
The problem is that a young gang has already claimed the land.
Hoping to avoid bloodshed, the town's lawyer (Nelson) tries to negotiate, but the stubbornness of both sides seems to make a violent showdown inevitable.
DUST TO DUST is another Western that chronicles the upheavals and chaos of Manifest Destiny.
